Fishmadman Competition 2010 - fish caught on Bomber

COMPETITION

Even though the summer of 2010 was a cold one here in Northern Scandinavia their where spells of hot weather and rising temperatures. One angler wrote to tell us about such an occasion in early July when temperatures on the Northern riverbanks was still icy cold.

“Conditions was absolutely cold with temperatures not reaching than 5 - 6 degrees Celsius (41 - 43 degrees Fahrenheit)... We had caught some fish and was coming to the end of our fishing session when things cleared up on the last day...The sun came through the cloud cower and air temperature rose to 14 degrees Celsius (57 degrees Farenheight) - Suddenly the river came alive and we where getting salmon on the dry fly left and right... full action”

This years winner Mr. Joakim Haugen also took advantage of such a sunny occasion and with a stunning 17.1 kg salmon he became the winner of our 2010 competition
